Odisha to See Drop in COVID-19 Cases in One-and-Half Months

Bhubaneswar: Odisha will witness drop in COVID-19 cases in next one-and-a-half months, said Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Director Dr. CBK Mohanty on Thursday.

Talking to the media, Mohanty said that the corona recovery rate in Odisha is better than the other States. However, the people should be careful and follow the COVID-19 guidelines, he added.

Speaking about the plasma therapy, the DMET Director stated that as many as 565 patients have been administered plasma therapy, of them 114 patients have recovered from COVID-19. The condition of other patients is stable, he said.
