Bhubaneswar: Over 45 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 3 PM in the urban local body elections in the Odisha, informed the State Election Commission (SEC).
Voting is underway at 106 ULBs (47 Municipalities and 59 NACs) and three municipal corporations of the State.
The voting began at 8 AM amid tight security and will continue till 5PM.
Over 40.55 lakh voters are expected to exercise their franchise to decide the fate of 6411 candidates.
