Bhubaneswar: All the universities of the state have postponed the examinations to be held on 28th and 29th March in view of the Bharat Bandh call given by Central Trade Unions. Utkal University, Revenshaw University, Ramadevi University and others have declared that the examinations scheduled to be held today and tomorrow have been postponed and the new dates will be announced later.
According to the authorities, all the examinations scheduled to be held under Utkal University have been postponed and new dates will be announced soon.
The Trade Unions have called for a two day Bharat Bandh on 28th and 29th to protest against price rise of essential commodities, the anti-farmer and labor policies of the Union Government. Bank and Insurance Unions from across the country have extended their support to the Bandh and services have been impacted.
