Odisha Vigilance Arrests DDM for Possessing Disproportionate Assets

Angul: Odisha vigilance on Tuesday arrested Dharanidhar Nayak, Deputy Director of Mines of Talcher, Angul district for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.

During the searches against the DDM, the Vigilance sleuths unearthed huge assets including 2 Multi Storeyed buildings, one 3-BHK flat approx Rs.1.30 crore, one duplex at Bhubaneswar, two market complexes with 19 shops, 9 plots, cash Rs.9.83 lakhs and one car, etc.

Following this, Dharanidhar Nayak, DDM, Talcher has been placed under arrest and will be forwarded to the Court today. In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No. 25 /2024 has been registered against Dharanidhar Nayak, DDM, Talcher, Angul.

Investigation is still underway in the case.
