Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance Director Debasis Panigrahi passed away today while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kolkata.
The IPS officer was airlifted from Bhubaneswar to Kolkata on June 8 as he required ECMO support after deterioration of his health condition.
The official was initially admitted to the Ashwini COVID Hospital, Cuttack after testing positive for Covid-19 on May 29.
