Odisha Vigilance Launches DA Searches at 7 Locations of Ex-Superintendent, Jharpada Special Jail

Bhubaneswar: Satya Prakash Swain, Ex-Superintendent, Jharpada Special Jail, Bhubaneswar and currently Superintendent, District Jail, Keonjhar, has come under the scanner of Odisha Vigilance for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.

The simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 12 DSPs, 11 Inspectors SI/ASIs , and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, at the seven places linked with Swain in, Bhubaneswar, Bhadrak, and Keonjhar.

The places are:

1. Residential house no – LB 104 over plot 912 , khata 1072 , Govindprasad , Laxmisagar , Bhubaneswar.

2. Parental house at Plot B-53, Siddhi Vihar , Khandagiri , Bhubaneswar.

3. Native village of Sri Swain at at Narsinghpur , Dhusuri, Bhadrak.

4. Govt quarters occupied by Sri Swain at Qr no – D-1, Special jail Colony, Jharpada, Laxmisagar , Bhubaneswar.

5. Govt quarters of Jail Superintendent, Keonjhar inside Jail campus, Keonjhar.

6. Office room of Sri Swain, Superintendent of Jail, Keonjhar.

7. House of his relative at House no EB-355, Jharpara, Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar.
