Odisha’s ace Para athlete V Ramesh Rao is exactly doing the same thing during pandemic which can be seen rarely at a time when covid-19 wreaked havoc in the society.
Though, he is not officially recognized as the Covid warrior, Ramesh, who hails from Chhatrapur in Ganjam district does nothing less than what a warrior does officially.
He can be seen with a thermal screening device testing the temperature of the people in all most all the street of the Chhatrapur town, which is emerging as the another hotspot for Coronavirus.
He can also be seen distributing dry foods, masks freely to the people.
Besides he also roams around the streets to generate awareness about social distancing among the people.
Speaking to thenewsroom.co.in, Ramesh said, as a differently abled person, I wanted to serve the society differently during this pandemic.
Ramesh has represented India in several international Para athletics events and won accolades for the State and Nation.
