Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today urged all to celebrate the courage of our girls who are breaking boundaries everyday to achieve their dreams.
On the occasion of National Girl Child Day today, the Chief Minister took to Twitter to express his Government’s commitment to remove every barrier to help the girls to realise their true potential.
“On National Girl Child Day, let’s take a moment to celebrate the courage of our girls who are breaking boundaries everyday to achieve their dreams. We remain steadfast in our resolve to remove every barrier to help them realise their true potential”, the Chief Minister tweeted.

National Girl Child Day in India is celebrated on January 24 every year. The objective behind celebrating the National Girl Child Day is to provide support and opportunities to the girls of India. It also aims towards promoting awareness about the rights of the girl child and to increase awareness on the importance of girl education, and their health and nutrition.
