On World TB Day, Odisha CM Reaffirms Commitment to Ensure Access to Advanced Treatment to End Scourge of Disease
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has reaffirmed his commitment to ensure access to quality and advanced treatment to end the scourge of tuberculosis.
Taking to twitter on the occasion of World TB Day, the Chief Minister said that tuberculosis is a preventable and treatable disease with timely diagnosis and treatment
“On World TB Day, reaffirm commitment to ensure access to quality healthcare and advanced treatment to end the scourge of the disease, which is a leading infectious killer”, Naveen wrote on his Twitter post.

World TB Day, falling on March 24th each year, is designed to build public awareness that tuberculosis today remains an epidemic in much of the world, causing the deaths of nearly one-and-a-half million people each year, mostly in developing countries.
