Bhubaneswar: The Online registration for Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana – Nabin Card will begin from today. The applicants can apply for the BSKY Nabin Card through online mode till 16th of this month. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had announced the introduction of BSKY-Nabin card for rural families who were hitherto excluded from BSKY. Those beneficiaries who have not received the BSKY card can register their names. As per the guidelines, Government employees, government pensioners and taxpayers will not be considered eligible for this.
Those people who are not currently enrolled in BSKY will be eligible for the BSKY Nabin Card. Beneficiaries can avail free treatment for critical diseases in any of the government or empanelled private hospitals across the state and outside. The BSKY Nabin Card provides free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year and up to Rs 10 lakh for women members. People can apply for the BSKY Nabin Card through www.bskynabin.odisha.gov.in portal.
