Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited fresh online applications from the prospective candidates for the recruitment to the posts of Assistant Director of Textiles (Group B) of Odisha Textiles & Sericulture Service (Textile Cadre) under Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department.
The link for registration/re-registration and submission of Registered Online Application will be available from April 22 to May 23, 2022 on the website of the Commission – www.opsc. gov.in. The last date of submission of Online Application is May 23, the OPSC said.
A total of three Assistant Directors (Unreserved 2 and ST 1) will be appointed during this recruitment drive.
A candidate shall not be below 21 years and above 38 years of age as on the 1st day of August, 2022. However, there will be relaxation in the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to scheduled tribes and women.
A candidate must possess the Degree in textile technology, Spinning and weaving from a recognized institution Or Degree in Textile Chemistry or Diploma in Textile Technology/ handloom technology from a recognized institution with minimum practical experience of three years in the spinning/weaving department of a textile mill or handloom industry or under the State government.
Rs 44, 900 to Rs 1,42,400 in level 10 of the Pay Matrix under the ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual dearness and other allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time, the OPSC said.
