Cuttack: The Orissa High Court has ordered for the arrest of MV Debi, the Panama registered vessel that is anchored at Paradip Port. The High Court ordered for the arrest of the ship on PICT’s admiralty suit involving maritime claim for recovery of dues. The ship owes Rs 7.95 crore to Paradip Port towards berth hire and penalty. The Panama registered vessel is stranded at the Paradip Port since December 2023 after 22 Kilograms of cocaine worth Rs 220 crore was seized from it.
