Bhubaneswar: Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) examination 2019 will be held in the first week of August.
The candidates can apply for the OTET exam online from July 15 to 26, while the online fee can be deposited till 4 pm on July 29, said the Board of Secondary Education (BSE).
Notably, the Odisha Government has decided to strictly enforce the norm of OTET qualified teachers in privately managed schools at elementary level in order to be eligible for getting Certificate of Recognition (COR) from next academic year.
The schools which fulfill the required conditions but have not been issued COR for want of OTET qualified teachers may be recommended approval for this academic session, Directorate of Elementary Education had said.
