Bhubaneswar: Guess, what is the favourite Odia cuisine of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Many might be surprised to know that Odia cuisine ‘Pakhala’ is his one of the most favourite Odia cuisines.
One of the most popular cuisine ‘Pakhala’ among the Odia people, find its place in CM’s list in a video promo released by Odisha Tourism titled ‘Ama Ghara Ama Handishala’.
In the video, the CM says, “Odisha is the land of Lord Jagannath, and he himself is a Chhapanbhogi. I do have a special love for Odia festivals, different kinds of pithas and food of Odisha. Whenever guests visits my resident, I prefer to serve them only Odia food. Odia cuisine has special identity and I like Pakhala the most”.
