Bhubaneswar: Odia film actor Papu Pom Pom and controversy seems to be inseparable. This time the comedian has again landed in trouble over the controversial poster of his upcoming film Mr. Kanheya.
The film has been scheduled to release this Ganesh Puja.
In the controversial poster, Papu is seen holding multiple strings on one hand while the other ends of those strings are connected to seven girls.
Ever since the poster has surfaced on social media, it has been receiving widespread backlash and criticism from different quarters.
Meanwhile, a complaint has also been filed against the actor and the production house by woman activist Linkan Subudhi.
Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahu has said that a complaint has been received. Notice will be served to the producer and investigations are on.
