Bhubaneswar: In a bid to provide services related to Labour Department at fingertips, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday launched the new portal “PAReSHRAM” and 22 online services as part of 5T implementation in the governance.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said, Technology is one of the important pillars of 5T governance. The portal and 22 online services will further strengthen the service delivery mechanism and ‘Ease of Doing Business’ policy of the government, which will subsequently propel the industrial growth of the state.
The portal will contain information about labour laws, he further added. It will benefit industrial houses, commercial centres, small entrepreneurs and common people as well.
The number of services through the portal will be increased to 74 with 52 new services in future, he added.
Now with the portal, services like registration certificate, license new plan of the industry, renewal of the license can be availed.
Among others, Minister of Labour and Employee State Insurance Susant Singh, secretary of the department Chitra Armugam, Labour Commissioner were present.
5T secretary to CM VK Pandian and IT secretary Manoj Mishra were among other senior officials who were present in the occasion.
