Patkura Polls: Indelible Ink to Be Applied on Middle Finger of Voters

Bhubaneswar: The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Odisha today announced that the indelible ink will be applied on the left hand’s middle finger of the voters during the Patkura Assembly elections as per the directive from the Election Commission of India.

However, the indelible ink will be applied on the ring finger of the voters, if re-polling will take place in any booth, a statement issued by the Office of CEO, Odisha said.

As many as 24,4747 voters are eligible to cast their franchise in the upcoming Patkura assembly polls scheduled to be held on July 20.
