People of Odisha Indebted to COVID Warriors: CM on I-Day

Bhubaneswar: The people of Odisha are indebted to COVID warriors for their great sacrifice, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on the occasion of 74th Independence Day.

Unfurling National Flag as part of the State Level Independence Day celebration at the Unit III Exhibition Grounds here, the CM said that the COVID-19 recovery rate is high in Odisha and death rate is the lowest in the country due to the dedication of the corona warriors.

He said that nobody will be deprived of the treatment for lack of money in Odisha. Every life is precious. With this mission, the State Government is committed to provide treatment and all facilities to COVID patients free of cost, he added.

To fight against the coronavirus, the State Government has set up COVID-19 hospitals in every district, Naveen said.

The CM paid his humble tributes to the COVID warriors who have sacrificed their lives in the war against the corona.
