Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo and star campaigner Naveen Patnaik today campaigned for party candidate Rudra Pratap Maharathy for the ensuing by-election to the Pipli Assembly seat in Puri district.
Addressing a virtual rally, Naveen said that the people of Pipli have always reposed their faith in Biju Janata Dal. Pipili and Delanga blocks have witnessed a lot of development works under the BJD rule, he said.
The BJD supermo further said that he would personally monitor the development works in Pipli.
Seeking vote for BJD candidate Rudra Pratap Maharathy, Naveen appealed to the people, especially the women, to turn in large numbers to vote for the BJD.
