Bhubaneswar: Today marks the 108th birth anniversary of legendary Biju Patnaik, a towering figure in the India’s freedom movement and a revered leader of Odisha. Popularly known as ‘The Tall Man’ for his unique personality and remarkable achievements for Odisha, the Biju legacy continues to inspire generations.
On the occasion of state-wide celebration of Biju Jayanti, the Information & Public Relations Department has organized a photo exhibition on the life of Biju Babu at Jayadev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar.
The exhibition was inaugurated by I&PR Minister Pradip Kumar Amat this morning.
Principal Secretary of I&PR Department Sanjay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary of Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department Sushil Kumar Lohani and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
Several leaders from across the State and country paid their humble tributes to the legendary leader on his birth anniversary.
