Bhubaneswar: Tampara Lake in Ganjam district is one of the largest fresh water lakes in Odisha. The beautiful lake reflects the ecological diversity of the State. It has been recognized as one of the wetlands of international importance under Ramsar Convention by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
On Sunday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took to Twitter to share some of the mesmerising images of this famous lake.
The CM said, “Picturesque Tampara Lake in Chatrapur nestled in greenery is truly mesmerising”.
“The fresh water lake’s sublime and tranquility in addition to the amenities and facilities developed by Odisha offers a unique experience. Come & soak in the scenic natural beauty”, Naveen wrote on a Twitter post.
