Pinaki Writes Letter to Gadkari for RoB in Puri to Ease Traffic

Puri: Senior BJD leader and member of Lok Sabha from Puri Pinaki Mishra has written a letter to the Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari to undertake the construction of a Rilway Over Bridge in Puri to ease the increasing traffic. In his letter the MP has said that the exhisting level crossing at 3.2 Km of NH 203 is causing much inconvenience to the people of Puri and the millions of tourists that come to the temple city.

The MP reminded Gadkari that the BJP had made a poll promise in the manifesto to convert Puri into the Cultural Capital of India. “This is a heartening prospect and all of us are pledged to support the implementation of that promise in full measure,” Pinaki wrote in the letter.

Pinaki also requested the Union Minister to take steps for speedy completion of the uncompleted part of the National Highway all the way till Sterling Resort as per the original plan of the National Highways. Both the projects will help ease the traffic woos of Puri and are vital steps towards making Puri the Cultural Capital of India.
