Bhubaneswar: Veteran BJD leader and Pipili MLA Pradeep Maharathy passed away on Saturday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital here.
Maharathy (65) had been on ventilator support after his health condition deteriorated since Friday evening.
The seven-time MLA had tested positive for COVID-19 on September 14.
