Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched several key infrastructure projects including an LPG import terminal built by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited in West Bengal.
Mamata Banerjee, who had been invited for the event, however, gave it a miss.
Earlier PM visited Assam, where he said he has a dream of setting up at least one medical college and a technical institution in each state that will impart education in the local language.
He has launched ‘Assam Mala’ scheme to upgrade state highways and laid the foundation for two medical colleges.
