PM Modi to Visit Vaccine Facilities in Ahmadabad Pune and Hyderabad Today

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Ahmadabad today morning to take stock of the developments related to Covid-19 Vaccine by Zyduc-Cadila.

He is on a three city tour to various Vaccine production facilities of the country.

He is scheduled to visit the Serum Institute of India Vaccine facilities in Pune and Bharat Biotech’s production facilities in Hyderabad later in the day.

While Zydus Cadila’s Vaccine ZyCoV-D has completed phase-I clinical trials, phase-II clinical trials are continuing. Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin Covid-19 Vaccine is undergoing Phase-3 trials.

Likewise Serum Institute has partnered Astra Zeneca and the Oxford University for the development and production of vaccine.
