PMAY-Urban Awards: Two Beneficiaries from Ganjam Felicitated for Best House Construction

Berhampur: Bringing laurels to the State, two persons from Odisha’s Ganjam district have bagged the awards for excellence in implementation of PMAY-Urban (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban), an affordable housing scheme run by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).

Two beneficiaries – Kalyani Sarasa from Digapahandi and Sabitri Naik and Seema Naik from Chikiti have received the PMAY-Urban awards under ‘Best House Construction’ category.
Besides them, Shantilata Bhoi and Radhashyam Bhoi from Konark in Puri district also bagged the award in the same category.

The winters were felicitated by the MoHUA at an award giving ceremony on January 1 through virtual mode.

Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange congratulated the winners.

In order to recognize the outstanding contribution of States, UTs, ULBs and Beneficiaries, MoHUA has instituted Annual Awards for excellence in implementation of PMAY-Urban in 2019.
