New Delhi: In a significant development, Rajya Sabha MP, Prasanna Acharya has been appointed as the Chairman of the Petitions Committee of the upper house of the Parliament.
Acharya succeeded BJP’s Prabhat Jha as Petitions Committee’s Chairman following reconstitution of eight House Committees.
Similarly, RJD MP Manoj Jha replaced Narayan Lal Panchariya of the BJP as chairman of the Ethics Committee.
