Pratap Keshari Dev Appointed as Election Observer of BJD for Pipli Assembly Constituency

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal today appointed MLA Pratap Keshari Dev as party’s election observer for Pipli Assembly Constituency.

“Pratap Keshari Dev, MLA is hereby appointed as Election Observer of Biju Janata Dal for Pipli Assembly Constituency with immediate effect”, the BJD said in a statement.

A by-poll for Pipili Assembly seat has become inevitable following the demise of former minister Pradeep Maharathy.

The seven-time MLA had passed away on October 4 last year.
