Bhubaneswar: The preparatory stage for setting up a medical college in Talcher in Angul district will start from October 2023.
In a high level meeting held under the chairmanship of Health and Family Welfare Department Secretary Shalini Pandit recently, it was decided that steps would be taken to start 330 bedded hospital at Talcher from October, 2023. This would be the preparatory stage for a medical college, as per sources.
The existing 100 bedded Neheru Satabdi Hospital would be a part of the 330 bedded hospital.
