President Kovind Arrives in Odisha to Attend Function of Army Air Defence College

Bhubaneswar: President Ram Nath Kovind  arrived at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on a two-day visit to Odisha today.
He was accompanied by his wife Savita Kovind and was accorded a ceremonial guard of honour at the airport.

Kovind arrived at Biju Patnaik International Airport here by a special Indian Air Force aircraft. He was welcomed by Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Pratap Sarangi, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy and DGP Bijay Kumar Sharma.

According to a press release given by the President’s Office, the President will present the Colours to Corps of Army Air Defence College at Gopalpur in Ganjam district.

The Army Air Defence College is celebrating its silver Jubilee this year. The district administration has made necessary arrangements for the President’s visit.
