New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind today took the first jab of COVID-19 vaccine at the Army R&R Hospital here.
President Ram Nath Kovind, accompanied by his daughter, was administered the COVID-19 vaccine at the hospital.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several other key leaders had already received the first dose of coronavirus vaccine since the second phase of vaccination drive started on March 1 in the country.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses given in the country had crossed 1.54 crore which includes 6,09,845 shots administered as on Tuesday, as per the provisional data given by the Union Health Ministry.
