Bhubaneswar: Prof Bibhuti Bhusan Biswal has been appointed as Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR) in Bhubaneswar.
The appointment is for a period of four years with effect from the date Prof. Biswal assumes office.
“Governor and Chancellor of Universities, Prof Ganeshi Lal appointed Prof Bibhuti Bhusan Biswal as Vice Chancellor of the Odisha University of Technology and Research for a period of four years with effect from the date he assumes office as such or until further orders whichever is earlier,” an official notification reads.
Currently, Prof. Biswal is Director at the Indian Institute of Technology, Meghalaya. He has more than 36 years of teaching experience. He has authored three books and successfully guided 24 PhD and 45 PG scholars.
