Bhubaneswar: Central University of Odisha, Koraput gets a new Vice Chancellor as Prof I Ramabrahmam of the Central University of Hyderabad has been appointed as its new Vice-Chancellor.
Prior to this new assignment, Ramabrahmam was working as a professor at the department of political science at the University of Hyderabad.
He will hold the Vice-Chancellor position for a period of five years or until the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.
The VC’s post had been lying vacant since Prof Sachidananda Mohanty resigned in February this year.
