Public Services At Doorsteps: Naveen Inaugurates OdishaOne Portal and 3000 Mo Seba Kendras

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated 3000 Mo Seba Kendras and the unified public services portal OdishaOne.

The Mo Seba Kendras will provide all government services at one place thereby bringing in transparency and use of modern technology for the common man. This revolutionary step will help common man get the best services and about 8000 youth will get employment.

On the occasion of late Chief Minister Biju Patnaik’s 105th Birth Anniversary, also celebrates as Public Services Day, under the aegis of 5T, the Mo Seba Kendra and OdishaOne portal have been inaugurated.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has said, “Service and honour to citizens is the principal Mantra of Our Government and in Democracy people are the real masters. Empowering common people and honouring them with best of the services is the aim of the government for which the 5T and Mo Sarkar initiatives have been undertaken. The government is giving importance to provide various public services to the people with ease.”

Referring to Biju Babu’s beliefs on using technology, Naveen said, Biju Babu always wanted that technology should always reach to the villages and the benefits of science should bring benefits in the life of all thereby improving their living standards. Mo Seba Kendra is a befitting step in this regard through which people staying nearer to their homes can avail the various public services without going to the offices.

Naveen also said that, in the coming days Mo Seba Kendras will be set up in each Panchayat of the state and creating employment for 8000 youth. People of urban areas with knowledge of computers can avail the various services sitting in their homes through the OdishaOne Portal. He also advised the officials to make people aware about the initiatives and check for the quality of service delivery.

It is pertinent to mention here that during the launch of 5T Initiatives on 15th August 2019, Naveen had said that there is a need to free the common man from going to government offices again and again for services and the 5T Initiative is a revolutionary step towards that hich provides services to people at their doorsteps.
