Puri Admin Urges COVID Positive Patients to Stay in Home Isolation for 17 Days
Puri: The Puri district administration today urged the COVID-19 positive patients to stay in home isolation for 17 days to prevent spread of the highly contagious virus.
In a video message, Puri Collector Balwant Singh has appealed to the positive patients to stay in home isolation for 17 days and follow the guidelines.
He also warned of action against the violators.
“If breathing problems or complications occur, patients under home isolation must inform visiting RRTs”, the Collector said while reiterating that the COVID hospitals in the district have sufficient beds with oxygen facilities.
Talking about the status of COVID-19 pandemic in Pur, the Collector said that the district has ramped up testing with 1200 daily tests. More than 80 per cent patients have recovered from coronavirus infections so far, he added.
The Collector also requested the people to wear masks properly and avoid crowded places.
