Puri Collector Appeals People To Stay Safe and Keep Corona Away

Puri: The Puri District Collector Balwant Singh has appealed the people of Puri District to help the administration fight the deadly Corona Virus. In a video message issued, he outlined the various safety measures taken to check the coronavirus outbreak and requested people not to panic.

Sight-seeing tourist bus owners’ association in Puri has been advised not to run tourists-buses to Konark and other places of tourist interests from today onwards in the wake of various measures being taken to check the coronavirus pandemic.

This is to intimate all concerned, tourists and visitors, keeping in view of various preventive measures to check the coronavirus pandemic, the district administration has decided to advise all the tourists not to visit the sea beaches of Puri district and avoid crowdy points or gathering at such places.

He also requested everybody not to panic and not to spread roumers and fake news in the social media. Strict action will be taken if anybody found spreading fake news on the social media platforms.
