Puri District Administration Launches Tele Health Services

Puri: The Puri district administration has launched Tele Health Services in Puri district from today. The initiative has been taken in order to provide health related services to the needy through telephones. As the state is under lockdown and people can not go out to the CHCs and PHCs, the administration devised the mechanism to reach out to the common man and help them take care of themselves.

The administration has shared contact telephone numbers of doctors who are assigned for specific areas. For any queries related to their health, people can call these doctors anytime instead visiting the hospitals. It has been activated in Puri town, all blocks, CHCs and PHCs.

For seasonal cold or flu, doctors can be reached by people over telephone. People are advised to contact and consult the doctors over telephone instead of visiting hospitals straight away.
