COVID-19: Puri Gajapati Maharaja Sets Example for Others, Opts for Self-Quarantine after US Tour
Bhubaneswar: Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb set an example for others after he and his family members have opted for self-quarantine for the next 14 days after they returned to Odisha following foreign tour.
Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb and his family members, who returned to Bhubaneswar after US tour, are in self- quarantine for the next 14 days while taking all precautions in view of COVID-19.
After attending several programs in Shree Jagannath Temples in various cities of the US, Shree Gajapati Maharaja and his family members returned to Bhubaneswar on March 15 and are remaining in their Bhubaneswar residence while taking all precautions for maintaining good health in view of coronavirus.
The Gajapati Maharaja and his family members have also registered online in the State Government’s COVID-19 Registration Portal and will remain at their Bhubaneswar residence for the next 14 days.
In the interest of public health and to prevent spread of coronavirus, Shree Gajapati Maharaja has appealed to all persons who have arrived in Odisha on or after 4th March from travel abroad to immediately register in the Government’s COVID-19 Registration Portal and to remain in home isolation for at least 14 days while taking all precautions as advised by the Government.
Meanwhile, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today thanked Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb and his family members for self-registering the State Government’s COVID-19 Registration Portal after return from the US.
