Puri: In an outstanding achievement today, the Puri Police Special Squad along with the Baseli Sahi police has seized 3.192 Kg Brown Sugar worth more than Rs Three Crore and arrested three drug peddlers along with the Kingpin. Speaking to media, SP Kanwar Vishal Singh said that a team of Baselisahi police carried out the raid and seized the contraband and arrested three drug suppliers. The kingpin is identified as Susanta Pattanaik @ Nanda. The two others arrested in the case are Raj Kishore Sahoo @ Raju and Manas Sahoo @ Guntha, all belonging to the Kesharpur area under Kanas police station limits.
The Police has also seized Rs 20,000 cash, four mobile phones, one currency counting machine, and one gray colour Maruti Alto car from their possession.
