Puri: The Puri Srimandir will remain closed for the devotees till July 25 in view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.
This has been informed by Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Dr. Krishan Kumar after meeting with Daitapati Nijog on Wednesday.
The reopening of the temple for the devotees will be taken after reviewing the COVID-19 situation, he said.
The SJTA Chief Administrator further said that the Snana Purnima rituals of Lord Jagannath will be conducted without devotees on June 24.
The annual Rath Yatra of holy Trinity will be celebrated as per the government guidelines, he added.
