Bhubaneswar: The State Transport Authority (STA), Odisha often comes up with innovative and humorous messages to sensitize the people on traffic rules and road safety.
This time, the STA took cue from Allu Arjun- starrer action drama film ‘Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01’ to insist that people that they should always wear a helmet while riding or face action.
To draw attention of the people, the STA has creatively posted an image of Allu Arjun on its twitter handle with a strong message – Pushpa or Pushpa Raj rule is same for all.
“Pushpa or Pushpa Raj rule is same for all. Always wear a helmet while riding a bike. Else, not only you will pay fine but also you will endanger your life”, it said.

As per the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019, riding without helmets by both rider and pillion rider with attract a penalty of Rs 1000 for first and also the subsequent violations apart from disqualification of license for up to 90 days.
