Rains Due To Western Distrbance In Odisha Likely From Sunday

Bhubaneswar: Many districts of Odisha are likely to receive moderate to heavy rains with thundershowers from Sunday due to the impact of the western disturbance. Along with rains, winds with 30 to 40 kilometers speed are also likely. The Indian Meterological Department has issued yellow warning for 26th March for 17 disticts. Thunderstorm with lightening and gusty surface wind reaching 30-40kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur.

The rains are likely to increase on the 27th with thunderstorm with lightening and gusty surface wind reaching 30-40kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nuapada, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj.
