Puri: The “Pahandi Bije” rituals of the Rath Yatra completed today with Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra and Sudarshan in Srimandir reached to their respective Raths (chariots) by 9.30 am.
In the Pahandi Bije rituals, firstly, Chakraraja Sudarshan came in Pahandi and was seated in Devi Subhadra’s Rath Debadalan followed by Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra and Lord Jagannath.
They all have seated in their respective Raths – Nandighosh, Taladhwaj and Darpadalan.
In Dhadi Pahandi procession the deities take rest whenever required during the journey to their respective chariots. All the deities move simultaneously one after the other in close succession. First Lord Sudarshana, then Balabhadra, then Subhadra and lastly Lord Jagannath are taken out from the Inner Sanctum.
