Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik paid obeisance to Lord Jagannath on the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra today.
The CM, who is an ardent devotee of Lord Jagannath, offered his obeisance to the deities through virtual mode and prayed for the peace and prosperity of the people of the State.
Earlier today, Naveen prayed the Trinity to protect the world from the Coronavirus.
With the blessing of Lord Jagannath, the State Government has able to organize the world famous festival successfully within a short notice. No unpleasant things have happened so far.
Meanwhile, the district administration has also ensured that all should follow health guidelines in the wake of COVID-19.
