Rayagada: The first child of Specialized Adoption Agency (SAA), Rayagada was handed over to a prospective adoptive parents from Uttar Pradesh.
The child was handed over the perspective parents under pre-adoption foster care by Rayagada Collector Swadha Dev Singh.

People have lauded the initiative of the Rayagada Collector and said that it will encourage other parents to adopt orphans.
The SAA is a child care institution managed by IDS to keep the adoptable children. The agency is recognized by the Government.
