Bhubaneswar: The Ganjam district administration is going full-throttle in transforming the high schools of the district under the ambitious Schools Transformation program under 5T initiatives. Ever since the program was initiated, 133 schools have been included for overall development of the infrastructure.
The Schools Transformation program aims to develop the schools into state-of-the-art learning centers. Being directly supervised by Secretary to CM (5T) V K Pandian, it intends to convert the high schools by developing them into model schools having all modern facilities such as e-library, smart classrooms, computer rooms, science laboratories, sports facilities, reading rooms, laboratory, drinking water facilities, hygienic toilets and above all a conducive study environment.
According to Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange, “Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has a vision to transform the overall educational environment in the high schools of the state. As part of this, these schools have been identified keeping in the needs. We are giving thrust on ensuring proper planning and flawless execution of the School Transformation Program.”
Meanwhile, the teachers, students, parents and community members have welcomed the initiatives of the State Government.
