Puri: In view of prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Puri district administration has imposed restriction on cremation of dead bodies of people from outside district at Swargadwara in the holy city here.
The restriction will come imposed from tomorrow and remain in effect till further order.
Puri District Collector Balwant Singh said that it is the tough decision to make, but it is necessary keeping the health interests of the people in mind.
