Rourkela: Several Areas in Sector-7 Declared Micro Containment Zones

Rourkela: Several areas under Sector-7 in Rourkela Steel Township have been declared as micro containment zones to control the spread of coronavirus.

The areas include Quarters A/52 to A/68 & A/69 to A/85, Quarters A/122 to A/137 & Quarters A/112 to A/119, Quarters B/119 to B/128 & B/129 to B/138.
In an order, the Rourkela Municipal Corporation said that these areas have been declared micro containment zones after the detection of positive cases in Sector-7.

All public and vehicular movement is restricted in the area. All the inhabitants within the containment zone shall strictly remain in home . All the shopping establishments of whatsoever nature shall be closed immediately .

The supply of Essentials and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by Town Services Department , Rourkela Steel Plant , SAIL – Rourkela.

All the Govt and Private institutions within the boundary of the containment zone is hereby closed forthwith, the RMC said.
