Berhampur: A utility corridor will come up between Gopalpur Port and Tata Steel SEZ at Gopalpur in Odisha’s Ganjam district.
The State Government has sanctioned Rs 140 crore for the 3km length and 60 meter width utility corridor.
The Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) has invited tender for the construction of this new corridor, which will enable smooth transport of raw materials and manufactured goods from Gopalpur port to the Tata Steel SEZ.
The utility corridor, which is expected to be completed in 18 months, will also support the industrialization in Ganjam district. .
