Sambalpur: Sambalpur District Collector Subham Saxena has reviewed the implementation and performance of the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Smart Cards with senior officials today. He discussed various issues including execution of the cards and working of the private hospitals of the district in this regard. He has instructed the officials and doctors from the private hospitals and nursing homes to ensure that no beneficiary should face any problem in getting the required service.
He said that, the aim should be to provide best of the service to the poor people of the state. He also took first hand appraisal of the treatment process, availability of medicines, beds, doctors and other paramedic staff in the hospitals. The meeting was also attended by SP B Gangadhar, CDMO Dr Bharat Chandra Das, District Medical Officer Dr Alekh Mahapatra, DPM Dr Mausumi Mishra, owners of private hospitals and BSKY Swasthya Mitras.
Senior officials of the district including Collector and Superintendent of Police are making regular visits to empanelled hospitals of the districts to oversee the implementation of the BSKY Smart Cards. They are also interacting with the BSKY beneficiary patients, their attendants, hospital management and Swasthya Mitras on smooth functioning of the scheme.
